Animoto: Not Your Typical Photo Album

Animotos are another fabulous way to display and share information dynamically.  Animotos are short “movies” made by uploading images to Animoto.com, and adding brief text to describe the images.  The user can choose from multiple styles of backgrounds, and the images fly, scroll, fade, burn, or flutter in and out of view, along with the text.  Users can also choose to set the mood with hundreds of music choices for accompaniment.  Presentations are stored online (no need to worry about saving to the hard drive, thumb drive, or CD), and can be accessed by whomever the author chooses to share the presentation with.  It also has a handy quick link to social media venues, should you want to have a broader viewing and impact.  Animoto also keeps a running tally of how many times each presentation has been viewed, and of course, it’s free!
