Fun STEM Projects

Do real science!  Here at the Massachusetts Academy of Sciences, we strive to provide hands-on science opportunities for the general public.  We especially value opportunities where students, teachers, parents, or anyone with an interest in science can partake in meaningful scientific research. Many  research labs use our “everyday scientists” for field work, data collection, crowd sourcing, and more.  Programs listed here are either sponsored by our own civic scientist members or are outside programs we have given our MAS Seal of Approval!  Become a Satellite Scientist and get involved with the real work of science!
