PlanIt Brooklyn Tackles STEM

PlanIt Brooklyn (PIB) describes themselves as “the sole creative consulting company in New York City that focuses on fashioning ground-breaking ways to grow start-ups, emerging leaders, and small institutions in the larger NYC area.” They work to combine art, emotions, patterns, and engaging narratives to help relay important messages. Their goal is to be current with their campaigns and catch the eye of clients that are competing in a “fast approaching Conceptual Age.” Along with a book, Pocketchange Productions for Dumb Ease, they have also produced events and campaigns.

What caught the attention of the MAS are their current images posted on Facebook that display beautiful photos and connect them to STEM. The title of series is “There’s a Science to This: A STEM Campaign.” The target audience varies from those who work with or have children to music listeners of the rap genre and much in between. Their description of the album reads, “In an effort to bring STEM some steam, PlanIt Brooklyn has created a campaign to highlight everyday STEM activity and to link popular culture icons to the sciences.”

They currently seem to host most of their web information between their Twitter account (@planitbrooklyn), their Vimeo account, and their Facebook page. We encourage you to go check out their work and especially their STEM campaign. They deliver important messages with style.
