Prezi: A New Way to Present!

Tired of dry PowerPoint presentations? Prezis are easy, dynamic, and fun!  Prezi is a simple online tool for creating presentations that students (and adults!) love.  Rather than having information displayed on multiple slides, information is displayed in just one space.  At your direction, the view can zoom in or out, or rotate, to focus on specific areas.  This allows the user to periodically “pull back” to see the bigger picture.  Students love using Prezi in their class presentations because there is movement, and creative flexibility.  Presentations are stored online (no need to worry about saving to the hard drive, thumb drive, or CD), and can be accessed by whomever the author chooses to share the presentation with.  Decrease the level of anxiety public speaking causes!  MAS members who have used this tell us their students can’t wait to stand in front of the class and show off their creative presentations.  It’s also free!
