In Brief

A collaborative game using colorful flyswatters to hit the right answer on a grid.

Materials

Cheap colorful flyswatters ( usu. at a $1 store) app. 8 (for 2/3s of the class), white board

QUIL

Break up students into 3 teams, (Teams A,B, & C).   Have them write up 10 math problems with corresponding answers within topic.

Round 1:
Team A reads their questions and act as judge. Teams B & C stand with flyswatters in front of a Grid of possible answers, and “swat” the right answer.  Which ever team has their flyswatter at the bottom of the stack wins the point for that question.

Round 2 & 3:
Rotate teams, so all kids get a chance with the flyswatters.
